We add a note when something changes in a way that affects a stay: a new restaurant, a suspended service, a published programme. Older notes stay up with their date so you can tell what was true when.

If you have seen something change at the hotel that we have not, write to the desk from the contact page. We check before we print.

Ask our desk for a room by the lake

Our booking desk reads this, checks availability and the rate with the hotel's reservations team or a booking partner, and answers by email. We never ask for a card, and sending it books nothing.
