Bouquet arrives
The operator lists Bouquet as new, on Level 3 of the casino building, with a view of Leamy Lake and an opening on 18 November. It is built around wine and cocktails, with food from small bites to shared plates, a menu that changes with the seasons, a DJ on Thursday evenings from 5 p.m., and a private dining room. On Wednesdays until 23 December there is a cheese and charcuterie board with a glass of wine for $30. One oddity: the Friday and Saturday closing time is printed as 12:30 p.m., which cannot be right for a restaurant opening at 5 p.m. We will update when it is corrected.
Banco Bistro changes its week
Banco now closes on Mondays and Tuesdays, opens at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday, and runs from 11:30 a.m. at the weekend — until midnight on Friday and Saturday, until 10 p.m. on Sunday. It still takes no reservations on Friday and Saturday between 5 and 8:15 p.m.
Arôme goes local for three weeks
From 29 October to 14 November, Thursday to Saturday from 5 p.m., Arôme serves "L'Outaouais au menu", a three-course dinner of local produce at $79. Its Monday Experience menu, three courses at $65, runs until 16 November.
Le Baccara is not on the list
For years the complex's fine-dining room was Le Baccara; Wikipedia's French article still describes its Five Diamond rating and award-winning wine list. It no longer appears among the operator's restaurants, and its old page does not load. We have not found an announcement, so we are not writing an obituary — only noting that, today, the dinner rooms are Arôme and Bouquet.
And the pool bar sleeps
TGV, the poolside snack bar, is "Closed. We'll be back next summer."
