Why one hotel
General hotel sites spread themselves across hundreds of properties and know little about any of them. We cover one: the Hilton Lac-Leamy and the complex it belongs to — the Casino du Lac-Leamy, the Théâtre du Casino, Amerispa and the restaurants. That lets us go into the things that actually decide a stay here: which rooms have a separate bedroom, what is 18+, how the parking information conflicts, when the spa opens, and which nights the theatre is playing.
How we check facts
- We start with the hotel's and the operator's own pages, then the Quebec and Outaouais tourism listings, then transport operators, the National Capital Commission and the museum, and only then encyclopaedias and the press, which we label as secondary.
- We print a fact only if we have seen it on a page, and we list those pages under every article with the date we read them. The latest full check was on 29 October 2026.
- When sources disagree, we print the disagreement.
- We do not print room prices. They change daily and depend on who sells the room.
- We do not invent reviews, quotes or reviewers. Public ratings appear with the platform, the count and the date.
What we will not do
We do not cover gaming, list casino offers or link to online gambling. We do not use the hotel's logos or brand colours, and we do not pretend to be the hotel. Our illustrations are illustrations, labelled as such; we hold no photographs of the property.
Who is behind it
Shore & Stage is run by a small independent editorial and booking desk. It is not connected to Hilton, to Loto-Québec or to any booking platform. The domain bejabo.com has been held through Namecheap, Inc. since 22 December 2024, and the site is hosted on a DigitalOcean server in Frankfurt, Germany. The site has no advertiser; if it ever has one, it will be named in the footer.
