At the hotel and the complex

• The operator describes the Hôtel-Casino du Lac-Leamy as an accessible building that welcomes guests with limited mobility.
• Wheelchairs are available at the coat check. They cannot be reserved, and availability is not guaranteed.
• The Bonjour Québec listing for the hotel marks it accessible to people with a disability and offering services for the hearing impaired, and links to its Kéroul accessibility record (establishment 3376).
• Bacchus, the hotel bar, is listed as accessible to people with reduced mobility.
• For the theatre, questions about access, including reduced mobility, go to 819-772-6222.
• Service animals are accepted at the hotel; the operator applies the same $50 fee and 34 kg limit it uses for pets.

What is not published: which room categories are adapted, roll-in showers, visual alarms or hearing kits by room. If you need any of these, tell our desk in the request and we will ask the hotel for written confirmation before anything is booked.

Getting there

• At Ottawa airport, fully accessible taxis are available on request from the attendant at the taxi rank, Level 1.
• At Leamy Lake Park, the beach is partially accessible to wheelchair users, and a beach wheelchair can be requested from a lifeguard in season.
• At the Canadian Museum of History, eight spaces for accessible-permit holders are on level P1 of the garage.

This website

We build the site to be read with a keyboard and a screen reader: one heading structure per page, a skip link, labelled form fields, visible focus, text alternatives for every illustration, and colours chosen for contrast.
