Plan

A theatre night, planned hour by hour

The theatre, Arôme and the hotel lifts are connected indoors, which makes a show night here unusually easy to get right. The only tight moment is dinner.

A typical evening

The operator does not publish curtain times on the programme page, only dates; the time is on each show's ticket page. The plan below assumes an 8 p.m. show, which is common, and should be shifted to match yours.

  1. Noon
Arrive, park in the free outdoor lot, leave bags with the bell staff at the main entrance. Box office opens at noon on show days if you still need tickets.
  2. 1–3 p.m.
Lunch, then the pool or a spa package. Amerispa opens at 9 or 10 a.m. depending on the day.
  3. 4 p.m.
    Check-in. Change for the evening.
  4. 5–5:30 p.m.
Dinner at Arôme. Dinner & Show guests are asked to arrive in this window, and Arôme gives tables two hours from the reservation time.
  5. 7:30 p.m.
Walk to the theatre through the complex — the box office is in the left corridor from the casino's main entrance. Have original photo ID ready; the hall is 18+ except for specific shows.
  6. After the show
Bacchus in the hotel's Grand Hall until midnight (1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday), or L'Instant in the casino building, which serves until 3:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.
  7. Next morning
Breakfast at Arôme — the buffet, or the brunch on a Sunday — or L'Instant's breakfast, served until 11 a.m. Friday to Sunday. Check-out is at 11 a.m.

Dinner: the decision that matters

There are three sensible options. Arôme is the calm one: lake view, seafood and grill, and the theatre's Dinner & Show price if you book it together. Banco Bistro on Level 3 of the casino is cheaper and quicker — rotisserie, pizzas, grilled steaks — but it takes no reservations on Friday and Saturday between 5 and 8:15 p.m., exactly when theatre-goers want it. Bouquet, new on Level 3, serves shared plates from 5 p.m. from Wednesday to Saturday once it opens on 18 November. All three except Arôme are 18+.

If the show is in French

Many of the most interesting nights in the programme are French-language. You do not need fluent French for a music night, and Sugar Sammy's "You're Gonna Rire" title tells you the comedy is mixed. For spoken-word shows, read the description on the theatre page before buying.

After the curtain, without leaving the building

Bacchus is the quiet choice — leather armchairs, a fireplace, scotch, and a separate smoking room for cigars bought on site. Bar 7 has live bands and DJs on Fridays and Saturdays from 7 p.m. and Latin Thursdays from 8:30 p.m. Aléa, the nightclub, runs parties from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. with a strict dress code. All of them are adults-only.
