The map

The pin below is Google's own card for the hotel, which we checked against the address. The casino has its own card — Casino du Lac-Leamy on Google Maps — a short walk away inside the same building complex.

We do not print travel times that no operator publishes. The links below hand the calculation to Google Maps, with live traffic and timetables for the moment you open them. The only fixed figures here are the hotel's own: ten minutes from downtown Ottawa and twenty-five from the airport by car.

From Ottawa airport (YOW)

By car or taxi. The hotel puts the airport less than 28 km away, about 25 minutes by car. At the terminal, licensed taxis queue outside the centre door on Level 1 (Arrivals); fully accessible taxis are available on request from the attendant. Ride-share pick-ups are at Pillars 12 and 13, on the curb furthest from the terminal, and hotel shuttles stop at Pillars 13 to 15 — the hotel does not advertise a shuttle of its own.

By transit. The O-Train Line 4 runs from the Airport station, at the north end of Level 3, to South Keys between 6 a.m. and midnight; you pay at the gates with a ticket, a Presto card, a debit card or a phone. From there the journey continues across the river on connecting services; the transit link above shows the current combination. With luggage, after a late flight, a taxi is the realistic choice.

From downtown Ottawa and the train station

By car it is a short hop across the river — the hotel's "10-minute drive" — and parking at the complex is free outdoors. By bus, the Société de transport de l'Outaouais (STO) runs its Rapibus corridor through Gatineau with connections to downtown Ottawa; the operator's page names the Station Lac-Leamy stop for the complex. Wikipedia's Rapibus article also lists a station called Casino at the casino itself, so check which stop your trip planner uses. The STO site lists Rapibus routes 100, 200, 400 and 800; its Planibus planner gives live departures, and customer service is on 819-770-3242.

From the VIA Rail station, a taxi is simplest; the transit link in the table shows the bus option.

On foot and by bike

The hotel gives the ByWard Market as 4.1 km away and the Parliament Buildings as 6.4 km — a long but pleasant walk in good weather, across the river by one of the bridges. The National Capital Commission's Leamy Lake Pathway reaches the park beside the complex, and the hotel describes a bike path from its door to Gatineau Park. Walking links are in the table.

From Montréal and by coach

Driving from Montréal, use the link in the table. Three coach companies run pick-ups to the casino: McCoy Bus Service (1-800-297-5540) from points in Ontario, Voyages Blainville (450-781-2226) from Montréal's North Shore, and Expression Voyages (819-868-1421) from Estrie and Montérégie. Groups book through the operator's coach line, 514-499-5180 ext. 1.

By helicopter

The complex has a heliport, booked through 819-772-2100 ext. 3636. Wikipedia lists it as Ottawa/Gatineau (Casino) Heliport, with one 24-metre concrete pad.
