The Classic room

Two queen-size beds and, in the hotel's words, "the same amenities as all other rooms in the hotel". The entry category is also the most flexible one.

What the hotel says

The hotel's description is one sentence long: Classic rooms have two queen-size beds and the same amenities as every other room. Nothing is held back for higher categories — the robes, the feather pillows, the 47-inch screen, the mini fridge, the safe, the coffee and tea and the free Wi-Fi all come with it.

Who it suits

Two friends who want a bed each after a show. A couple with one or two children. Two colleagues on a conference budget. Anyone for whom a second bed is worth more than a sitting area.

For a couple alone, the Deluxe is usually the better pick: one king instead of two queens, and a dressing table by the door that frees up the room. The two categories share everything else.

How it sleeps

Four people fit in two queens, but we would only suggest it for a family with young children. Four adults after a night at the theatre will be happier in two Classic rooms, or in a Murphy suite with its sofa-bed. The hotel does not list rollaway beds or cribs on the pages we read, so ask before you count on one.

Worth asking for

Pairs well with

The Bed & Breakfast package if you mostly need a place to sleep after a show, or the Arôme package if dinner is part of the plan. Families should read the pools page first: the pools are open all year and the outdoor one is heated.
